  10. アメリカが軍事支援するまでは存在しない部隊でしたので…国境地帯に住んでいる人たちは、クルドが来たらオジャランの、トルコが来たらエルドアンの、シリア政府軍が来たらアサドの写真掲げるんですよ。今回アメリカの後ろ盾を得て散々悪さしたクルド武装勢力への報復はあると思います。

  12. クルド部隊は米国の支援がなくなったら、後背地・経済基盤がないので山に逃げるかアサド政権に投降するしかない。米国や西欧でのロビー活動やメディア表現がうまいので過剰に大きく見られている。米国が飛行禁止区域を設けてトルコ軍とシリア軍を抑制して10年やれば国ができるかもしれませんが。

    これアサド政権の停戦のように「次の戦闘までの息継ぎ」ではなく、トルコはシリアでの作戦目標は限定的なので、クルド部隊が安全地帯から出て行ったら深追いしませんよ。エルドアンを悪魔化する米国の報道や議会が異常。イラン相手に戦争やらせようとした時と同じワシントンの内部の集団思考の暴走。

  16. Yes but what else can they do? If the YPG doesn’t have US backing, it will have to stand down in face of Turkey’s military might. Assad, who wants to use the promise of folding the YPG under his control to lure Ankara for a hand shake with his regime, won’t fight for them either
