No easy answer as far as I know.

Start several instances from a shell prompt?
You might need to create separate profiles for them so that they don't stop on each other.

Or disable javascript of the heavy pages.

the only way to get it working again is to restart the network manager, or restart the whole comp. it's annoying. its a dwa 131 usb.

Is there some sort of category of laptop that fills the niche of being able to do game development.

So while messing around with an old P3 system I started poking around
and googling datasheets for some of the chips on the motherboard because
I wanted to try reading the System firmware image off of it (don't ask why)

while poking around I found the N82802AB Datasheet...is this thing the first
revision of Intel ME?

It is connected directly to the ICH and has some similar "security" features
however it looks like it lacks the ability to operate standalone.
What exactly is this thing? Is it a locked down 4/8 Mb flash chip or is it a early system management chip?

Posting this in sqt cause it doesn't deserve a thread.

What causes BAD_POOL_HEADER in Windows 10?

No, it's not my RAM. Yes, I'm sure.

I've been trying to narrow it down. It SEEMS to have something to do with a driver relating to my video card and wireless adapter. My wireless adapter would always act weird and when opening a new tab, it would say no internet, but the other tabs would work fine.

Then, once I install the latest NVIDIA drivers, I begin to experience these crashes. I don't know if it's from Windows update installing their own driver or the actual driver I download. I can't seem to stop Windows from forcing a driver update over the existing ones, unless I install it without internet, but maybe it's still installing?

It seems like a driver conflict. Only fix is to re-install Windows. Is there a way to disable Microsoft's cuck-ification? Maybe through hosts? Fucking Microsoft.

I want to build a 'central hub' so to speak of data, a home server that would operate at low power and allow me to access files both at home and remotely. I mostly work in a windows-based ecosystem. I have a number of old laptops and desktops at my disposal (5-10 years of age). I would like to span at least windows 7 to 10, and back to XP if I am able. What would be most effective for me to set up?

It's not really a big deal but kinda annoying.

If I turn my desktop off via manually hitting the power button or power goes out etc. (not turning it off correctly), it'll reboot saying date/time not set and boot into my HDD which I obviously don't want.

To fix this I've gotta open up the case, disconnect my HDD, and boot again since BIOS won't even recognize my SSD unless the HDD is completely disconnected.

Any ideas how to fix this? I assume it has to do with the CMOS yeah? The date/time goes back to factory date (sometime in 2015) when I reboot into my SSD but otherwise everything is fine.

What makes more sense in terms of relationships in a database:

a) Building has sections containing rooms
b) Building has rooms contained in section

This seems like it'd be really obvious (I'd go with option a) but it's confusing me. Pic related is what it'd look like which is how it'd be visualized I think.

I tried to visualize it somewhat and got that pic which made me lean towards option a. Does the problem I thought of in the pic for option b make sense? You could technically assign a room from building A to a section in building B which makes no sense since it can't be in two places at once. You can't do that with option 'a': 1 building -> many sections -> many rooms.

Obviously at some point if I expanded on this there'd be things like customers booking rooms and so on but it's hard to think of the big picture right now.

Hey guys, I am having some issues I need a hand with.
So basically, my computer randomly shuts down after about ten minutes of playing games, it doesn't shut down when idling or doing small tasks, and wont turn back on unless I open the case and jiggle shit around.
Anyone have any idea of why this might be happening all of a sudden? It doesn't have to be a really hard game to run for it to crash, and I have good temps all the time. I'm thinking its either motherboard or PSU but I would like your opinions.

those changes to fstab should have no effect on performance whatsoever
"rw" as an option is just "defaults but with rw", your defaults likely already included rw, so that won't change anything
and "auto" just probes for the correct driver to use, which for an ext4 filesystem, can only be the ext4 driver, so that also won't change anything

a. logical swap partition
b. logical / partition
3. unencrypted extended windows partition
a. logical recovery partition
b. encrypted logical windows partition (no efi partition, laptop uses bios)
4. encrypted primary ntfs partition with files to be mounted under windows or linux

Want to connect my Wii U controller to my computer and I've seen a bunch of guides saying it needs a bluetooth adapter to do so.
Do I need to buy a bluetooth adapter for this? (http://a.co/bnlVXpU this one gets brought up a lot), or can I use one of my million other bluetooth adapters for specific hardware?

tldr: can I use my bluetooth keyboard or mouse dongles to connect my wii u controller to my pc or do I need to buy a new dongle?

superfluous
you can run that without booting into another system or chrooting

also, instead of excluding virtual mounts (which you should only be excluding the contents of, not the folder itself), you can use "-x", which tells tar not to cross filesystem boundries, aka, only include files actually on the / mount (you'll also want to add things like /home as well if they're on a different filesystem though)

Got some recordings on an LG TV here that I would want to play on a PC or convert to some other format.

Only way I found to transform these files ending in STR (not an extension, by the way) which are the ones that contain the recordings, is to convert that shit to .TS using some paid software for windows called TS Doctor.

Does anyone by any chance know of an alternative to that software, or how to play or convert these STR videos?

12.5MiB/s is theoretical, a little less in practice is expected. ~11MiB/s is common for 100Mb/s connections
this might indicate that it's running at 100Mb/s, but there are other factors besides the cable here, namely;
1. does the NAS have a gigabit port (and are you using it)
2. does the router have a gigabit port (and are you using it)
3. does your wifi connection alone exceed 100Mb/s?
the entire transfer can only run as fast as the Weakest Link(tm)

2. RJ-45 (incorrect name for it according to Wikipedia?) on the router (and 1200 Mbps ac WiFi)
3. Since I'm connected to the 5Ghz WiFi, I'm guessing that rules out my laptop too.

Looks like the cable?

I'm not too concerned about it being fast local anyway, from what I can tell it's enough for over the Internet (with the exception of upload speeds which are slower on the NAS than the laptop).

I know of workarounds like making a quick batch file with one robocopy command for each folder you intend to copy, or moving them into a different directory prior to copying, but curious if there's an easier way to specify multiple directories to be moved to a single destination.

16MiB/s is only attainable on gigabit ethernet, so the devices definately support that

as for internet speeds, either one won't affect it if you you're internet connection is less than 100Mb/s both directions (ethernet is full duplex, meaning a 100Mb/s connection can do 100Mb/s download and 100Mb/s upload at the same time)

I'm assuming same chipset, right?

In any case, my only big worry is that it could be a motherboard dying out too. It is a sabertooth x58 and while great in 2010, it is showing its flaws in 2017. I really hope this motherboard isn't the one crapping out. I'm hoping it's a variety of problems caused by a CPU that's crapping out and bad drivers on my Win7 installation that is completely fucked (for some reason I cannot install anything but a graphics driver, any other nvidia drivers I attempt to install fail and there are a load of registry problems that are unfixable).

I would just install a new OS but for some reason the motherboard isn't supporting my USB isos and the CD/DVD drive isn't working even though it's plugged in and powers.
