  7. Whataboutism, but maybe appropriate whataboutism. The amount of criticism & outrage by EU/US politicians (+some media outlets) outreaches everything we have seen so far. Assad, Putin & Iran killed hundreds of thousands with Obama & the EU sitting back. Not now for some reason ...

Syrian/Assad regime forces are publicly announcing their intent to massacre people in Raqqa tonight. Somehow the international community goes totally silent when it comes to genocide at the hands of the "Syrian Arab Army."

  12. Funny details. forces are roaming the city. They hoisted flags to scare Turkey and its allies (on tanks Russia does not use anymore). Also someone has to tell them the order of the Russian flag's tricolor ...

  13. Acc. to YPG media, "Turkish affiliated armed opposition groups" are holding the IDP camp N-W of . Firing can be heard in videos. Can anyone explain that? Acc. to most maps - also by Turkish analysts - SNA forces are more than 20 km away from the city with its camp.

  14. Yesterday according to the army: "дважды в районе Золотого - из подствольных гранатометов, крупнокалиберных пулеметов и другого стрелкового". Grenade launchers heavy machine guns and small arms. These are FACTS, provided by Zelensky's own military. He should know that.

  18. If you want to see how people in Assad’s “liberated” areas live, have a look at Daraa, Hama or Homs. Hell on earth - no jobs, no electricity, no wealth. Placing millions under Assad’s rule instead of Turkish is final evidence, the YPG could not care less about “the Kurds”.

  19. Assad’s human rights record - also concerning the Kurdish minority in Syria - is MUCH worse than Erdogan’s in Turkey. Language, citizenship, democratic participation - you call it. Also from a humanitarian point of view living under Turkish umbrella would be much better for them.

  20. Everyone praising the Assad regime takeover of areas in northern Syria and not recognizing that this move by the YPG is for retaining a minimum amount of YPG power and YPG power only - and has nothing to do with “saving the Kurds” - must be considered a real YPG propagandist.
