And Turkey's main target was autonomous PKK state. And it crushed. Their dreams finished. Second target is safezone. Most of it will be established also. If necessary they will talk with Esad.
Well, the country is united in a nationalist frenzy again (well, a majority), and that's all what counts. YPG surrenderering to Assad may be a problem for the "FSA", but not so bad for Erdogan.

The fight in Syria was never about occupation. It was to eliminate the YPG threat. A single, united Syria is the preferred end game.
