Last but not least the domestic players Assad, YPG & SNA - wich are ALL puppets of foreign powers right now - might become even less relevant in the future. Their political role, their presence and their advances/withdrawals are decided in Moscow, Ankara (and partially Tehran).

Tonight both, YPG and SNA, report heavy clashes with YPG describing the fighting as a successful counteroffensive (recapturing 5 villages so far) and SNA reporting to have destroyed several regime(!) tanks during the fighting. All unconfirmed so far.
