    People have condensed the 12mn strong Syrian Opposition under the jihadi label despite many being secular while glorifying the YPG as "the Kurds" eventhough Syrian Kurds only make up 7% of Syria's population and the YPG gets 15% support from that 7%. *The ending is the best part.

    Many different source report about a meeting between Turkish and Russian personnel in Ayn Dadat north of Manbij about the current situation. The Russians want Turkey & SNA to stop its planned operation. The Turks want Russia and the regime to withdraw from Manbij.

    Evidently, the Assad regime together with the Russian military police entered Manbij city. It has yet to be seen if Manbij will end up like Tel Rifaat or if the regime will establish full control. Also to follow if there would be any kind of push from the SNA backed by Turkey.

    Demographic normalisation in Syria has already begun with the joint Syrian-Turkish military operation. Some refugees inside Turkey started to return home to Tal Abyad voluntarily. I said it before: Don't underestimate the willingness of Syrians to go home.
