    Chatter from the USG now is that much of the reporting about regime takeover in some areas is false, and that the troops are not immediately leaving. Until then, any attempts by the regime will be responded to. Things are still murky inside.

    On the list of the 20 largest buyers of French weapons, Saudi Arabia ranks 2nd, Egypt ranks 4th and the UAE 6th. Turkey is not on the list, it ranks around 30th.

    Confused as to why France would suspend weapons sales to Turkey over its latest Syria incursion but continue to gleefully arm Saudi Arabia despite the Yemen debacle and Egypt and UAE despite their disastrous Libya war

    If SDF was truly a multi-ethnic force they would not have made a deal with Assad loyalists as TR intervention goal is ~30 KM. However, because SDF is basically Syrian PKK + windowdressing they have sold their soul to devil in the hope he will save their core areas near border.

    Turkey and FSA will not enter more than 30-35 KM anyway. I do not know why YPG is panicked and want to hand over all areas down to Raqqa and Deirezzor to the regime.
