    Luke has a lot of iffy takes but seems to mean well. This though comes off as racist/nationalist-isolationist to me Syria should concern everybody, & hopefully a lot more about Syria than the most recent catastrophe with siding with the psychopathic regime + Russia

    I despise this, . This is so simplistic/reductionist and trite. We can do better. Assad's crimes require people to understand this conflict in the context of Syria's history not just recent US-"Kurd" relations. Do you know the differences between YPG/PKK/SDF, etc.?

    I feel terrible about what is happening to the Kurds. You can’t treat allies like that. We will do better under my presidency. 👍🇺🇸💪

    Anyone who thinks the return of the Assad Regime to NE Syria is somehow preferable to the tiny deployment of US troops who deterred a Turkish invasion for years is crazy. Thousands of locals who were safe last week will have to flee to avoid arrest for military service + activism

    I wonder if the Trump base is pleased when they see the Kurds getting slaughtered in Syria and ISIS being freed from capture. I would think if they were president they would think that decision was crazy. How exactly does that make America great again?

    That's because Assad killed anyone who opposed him peacefully first, then all that was left was militant resistance which he lost territory to for a while but had to start using war crimes, crimes against humanity & chemical weapons. Syria doesn't need Assad at all=Worse off with
