    Turkey's operation in Syria has been deeply revealing of the country's political nature. All political factions except the HDP are behind the Erdoğan government's decision. Only the CHP trembled a bit while bending the knee.

    Maybe the real mistake was to stick so closely to US which in fact never had a Syria policy as so many SDF commanders and Kurdish civilians argue right now. I can't even imagine Iran betraying its allies no matter what contrary to the US.
