How's are things going. Have gotten any other victims to assist you in the CA lawsuit

One so far is qualified to participate. We may have to go it alone. Unsure we will be able to get others to join.
-
That's pretty shitty. Most DMCA takedowns I've seen were legit so I have no idea who has been hit like this before. I would maybe speak with your lawyer/s and see if they can do some research on other recent dmca takedowns that were turned over like yours.
-
They'd be duplicating the research we've been doing to keep costs low. It'd cost me $515/h, minimum, to have my lawyer and assistants do it again.
-
Good lord. Hopefully things work out. Google will attempt to solve this out of court at all costs. Do what you need top get things done

...a-any chance we can get a full-site database dump beforehand? Just tags and hashes would be enough, not that I don't think you'll be fine, but, ya know, some redundancy, just in case.
-
It's fine. We have multiple redundant locations sitting around unused anyway.
-
I sure hope so. I got a similar “it’s all fine, bro” answer from the nyaa admin team less than a month before the owner pulled the plug. What’s important is that someone independent of the core team has a copy. Because something something I haven’t cloned your database in years

I agree that Gelbooru must sue Google for not following the law, like they are suppose to.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Hope things go well. As far as I’m concerned Google is completely immune to every law in existence since their aggressive hoarding of information potentially gives them the ability to blackmail and ruin anyone’s life they choose to and they’d likely get away with it.
