Pipo X8 Mini PC Tablet it’s kind of a combination of a desktop and a tablet. It’s not only a mini PC tablet, but also a mini PC and a TV with a 7 inch touch screen. Design

Pipo X8 looks different than a normal tablet; it’s a lot thicker but it has no batery inside. Instead, it uses a 12V DC charging port supply, which makes it kind of inconvenient to move it around. Its design is pretty simple. It weights 450 gr, with size 178*119*50 mm. It has a windows button on the display screen, two speakers, one on the left and one on the right side, and a rotatable antenna, which helps to strengthen the WiFi signal. A great thing about Pipo X8 is that it has 4 standard USB ports, 1 Micro USB Slot, 1 TF card slot, 1 Ethernet Slot, 1 HDMI slot and 13.5 mm Earphone port.

The package includes the Tablet PC, a charger and an adapter (the adapter depends on the country of the buyer).

Tips

Once you turn it on you will find it pretty easy to go throw all the settings. Just follow the instructions.   What I found kind of hard, is to switch from Windows to Android. What I did to change from Android to Windows or Windows to Android is to turn the Pipo X8 off and then press the power and plus button together for a while. Then you can move the mouse, pick one and click on the arrow. That seems to be the only way when you are in Windows. On the contrary, when you are in Android, you can click on the “switch to windows” icon too.

Available HDMI adapters for PIPO X8

To connect it to your PC screen or TV screen use an HDMI Female to VGA Male Adapter. There are also adapters available to enable connection with phones and tablets.

  • In addition to all these, Pipo has the advantage of having the same functions as a Windows computer, but with the difference that it’s easy to carry.
  • Its screen has a premium quality of picture, text and brightness.
  • WiFi signal is strong, because of the antenna.
  • Speakers are not super loud, but louder than a normal tablet.
  • Both Windows and Android systems run fast and I couldn’t notice any problems.
