I very much appreciate what you've been achieving. But is the "160,000" really a strong point? The political system does allow for a successor PM without a general election.
It does if the question is the relative democratic legitimacy of choices made by the PM and made by Parliament.

But that's an incomplete picture. The PM's democratic legitimacy comes from the confidence of MPs.
