The Court won't deliver the judge's will and it certainly won't deliver my will. It will deliver what is necessary to ensure Parliament's will is delivered in preference to the PM's. If a prime minister acted in the same way, after they won a general election - but without their manifesto specifying they would act like this - would that be any better?
Such a PM would only be PM because they had the confidence of Parliament.
