And a Rolling Stone political reporter who somehow always is in the position of protecting Trump from corruption charges is "a very particular kind of" journalist.

Isn't the point of workplace whistleblower protection so that people can speak out without risking their job?

Have to disagree on this one Matt. He wasn't whistleblowing about something the CIA did. It was about the president. Why wouldn't he go back to work after making the report?
-
I think he’s implying the WB had less to lose which is weird because he’s had to hire security because he’s fears for his life.
-
And who knows what kind of CLM this is at this point.

Yet, his/her words have been confirmed, but it's fake. Make sure those skis are on tight as you jump the shark.
-
All I care about is whether the allegations are true. Everything else is a distraction. Regardless of the whistleblower’s motives, and/or partisanship, the only relevant issue is whether the President committed a felony or otherwise abused his power

Insiders must be the ones to blow whistles; not sure I understand why that's a surprise, or why someone doing it should then quit or be fired from their inside position...Isn't that the point of whistleblower protections?
-
In an ideal world, yes. But if you look at how the government has treated every legit whistleblower who leaked their info to the press after being shut down in the "proper channels," our system doesn't work that way and punishes people who don't accept that.

Waiting for the CIA whistleblower who blows the whistle on the CIA’s effort to initiate the “Trump-Russia collusion” hoax.
-
“Russia, if you’re listening...” “I love it, especially later in the summer...” And remind me, where is Trump’s campaign manager/former fixer for Russian oligarchs right now?
