Has secure video gone live already?

level 2

13.2 I believe, which is in Beta

What cameras support the new secure playback

Logitech, eufy and Netatmo were those mentioned in the keynote. I’m thinking this is Logitech. But I’m not sure how this is available yet, there wasn’t any mention of it in the 13.2 notes.

How can OP drop a pic and not tell us more?!?

level 2

Looks like it to me...

This must be a static image asset then, which would make sense given that the actual implementation isn't out yet

level 1

Any chance of a video or more screenshots?

level 1

Nice !!!

level 1

Can’t wait. Come on Logi!

level 1

What camera is that?

level 1

This looks very promising. It's a pain in the ass to go the horrible Logi Circle app to review footage.

level 1

I’m now seeing the “show as separate tiles” option for my camera/motion detector and defused/light. Is this new in 13.2 or have I been missing this for a while ¿?

level 2

New in 13.2

Let us let the Logitech Harmony team know we want this, and it has taken way to long to get out there. Light up this support thread on their site to get their attention!

Edit: Added product Harmony for clarification.

I am so fed up with iOS 13 (13.1.2) and wish I had never upgraded. HomeKit and the Home app have become unreliable, unstable and therefore completely unusable. Here's why:

  1. Constant refreshing and updating every few seconds. See this video [ https://imgur.com/gallery/1FXErJT ]. It is making HomeKit completely unusable as you cannot control devices from within the app. Restarting my iPhone resolves this problem for a few hours but it will happen again (and again and again). Logging out and back into iCloud does not solve this. Rebooting everything in my house (including router, devices, bridges, HomePod, aTV, etc) doesn't help either.

  2. Tens of devices in my home have been removed from their rooms and have been placed into the Default room. In this video all of these devices (30+) in the Default room have been removed from its original room [ https://imgur.com/gallery/V1J2hpF ]. I have to manually add them back to the correct rooms (which is pretty much impossible as HomeKit keeps on refreshing and not accepting device changes).

  3. Cannot rename or change device settings. After changing and submitting, the change will be undone.

  4. It has been mentioned many times in this sub, but GROUPED devices and sensors really are a complete nightmare. You cannot get an easy overview of what's going on in a room anymore. The worst example here is the Floodlight on the Netatmo Presence camera which requires so many steps to turn on a simple light.

  5. Over the past years I chose to use the nuclear option a few times to solve problems with HomeKit: delete my house because of whatever problem and start over again. With over 200 devices in my house I really really really do not wish to have to do this again but it feels like it is the only way to solve above problems 1 to 3. I don't think this is normal behaviour for Mac users. Then WHY is this accepted as a solution for HomeKit users?

I honestly don't understand why Apple is approving the release of such a buggy and shitty software product. After all those years (HomeKit was introduced in iOS 8) it feels like it is still in beta. In my opinion Apple should have never made this available to the public.

Good/Awesome news!

Soon the weather station from Netatmo will receive HomeKit support!

Unfortunately it will be limited to Hardware V.3 but still awesome stuff.

Currently it is only available in beta seed.

When I reach home I will test it!

Update: setup was easy with the app generating the HomeKit code which must be saved for future scenarios; The indoor module (the station itself) shows as a stack of 4 sensors ( CO2, humidity, air quality and temperature) which in beta 13.2 can be shown individually; outdoor module shows as a stack of 2 sensors (temperature and humidity). Unfortunately the anemometer and rain gauge are shown as unsupported yet. As this is beta all the way, I presume more changes will come.
