I’m honestly stunned you’d write something like this. Suggesting that a completely legal process, going through all the correct steps, which is unlikely to go through the Senate without Republican support constitutes a “coup”

No one’s “religion” or “vote” is at threat because Congress decides to engage in an inquiry about the possibility of impeachment. Any changes to gun laws will happen as part of the democratic process through our elected representatives.

When people challenge you because you appear to be leveraging the power of the US to further your own political career and investigate your opponents, rather than to work in the interests of American citizens, this is not an attack on democracy, it is explicitly in defense of it.

And if you are impeached, which again seems unlikely because your lackeys in the Senate are too spineless to confront the facts, it wouldn’t take Republicans out of the White House. It would simply replace you with @VP Pence.

So please, stop stirring up your followers with insane rhetoric designed to inflame them. You talk of civil wars and violence, but it’s only you inciting those things. And you’re doing it against the practice of American democracy. Turning them against the constitution.

Because that’s where impeachment as a process is documented. It’s as core and important a part of the checks and balances of American democracy as the Presidency itself.
