Withdrawing from Syria, also: think about how much coverage Trump's tweeted promise got compared to a couple years of intense aerial bombardment. And some on the left played into this, even though US troops on the ground weren't the reason tens of thousands died in airstrikes.
Let's allow for the possibility that, in 2019, you may have to do the last resort and blow up some bad people: terrorists and génocidaires. Is the reliance on airstrikes a military necessity, in such an age, or a means of shifting the death toll from military forces to civilians?
This is why they want to withdraw from Afghanistan and let the Taliban do what they want? Or do nothing against Assad? I'm glad that you can get fooled by this nonsense, but for the rest of us who care they'll have to be better.
