Very tunnel visioned Eddie. He makes a very valid point, particularly in the states. You know Philly well and see the poverty, it's immoral for someone to sit on billions they'll never spend while a large proportion live day by day, in most cases they never had a chance.
-
I’m from the gutter , and grew up in poor conditions , the truth will always remain “ You deserve nothing , we all are entitled to what we earn “ .
-
It’s easy for a non billionaire to say billionaires should not exist. I agree with Eddie. There’s to many dogs who went from the street to the penthouse through hard work, dedication and risk. You get what you put in.
-
Damn right. We’re only worth what we deserve and work toward. We’re all dealt a hand in life. It says a lot about someone if they complain about their circumstances and try to blame others for having more.
-
We deserve nothing friend. There’s never been one person who has deserved fame, fortune or success. You earn these things. There is a fine line between them. You deserve an education You deserve a loving family You deserve a support system Everything else, you earn.

Bernie's a billionaire?
-
Does it matter? Apparently wealth is evil
-
I don't have a problem with declaring extreme wealth inequality to be a major societal problem.
-
What about moderate wealth inequality?
-
I've never heard anyone except Leon Trotsky critique that. It was the status quo in the US until about 1980. Hell, during the Eisenhower admin the top marginal Federal rate was 95%!
-
Yeah but that rate wasn’t really paid
-
I'll just leave this here. It's from the Urban Institute, which was founded by the Ford Foundation. You can disagree with Bernie (I do) and still agree we have a problem. http://apps.urban.org/features/wealth-inequality-charts/ …pic.twitter.com/hN6cvulSq4

Bernie used to say ‘Millionares shouldn’t exist’ now he has upped it to “Billionaires shouldn’t exist” because he is now a multimillionaire What an evil human being you are. So you want to keep your millions & lavish in your riches.. while launching class warfare against others?
-
Bernie's net worth is around $2-3 million.pic.twitter.com/QBnElfCQqa
-
Again it’s relative. Millions of Americans who don’t have $100 in their pockets could also make Bernie’s arguement & say why should Bernie be allowed to have $5 million when others have so little. Who gets to decide what’s too much money for one person? Bernie?pic.twitter.com/pKrDV89NqZ
