It's amazing watching the right absolutely piss their pants about this little girl. They are genuinely terrified of her.

We're terrified FOR her. She is surrounded by adults who clearly have no intention of fulfilling their duty to care for her, and are interested only in using her for political gain.

Didn't realize that having a functional, livable planet was political. Just figured it was a human responsibility.

Thats the whole problem right there, they have spun human rights, gender rights, the environment into “just politics” and facts into “ a matter of opinion.”

Autism is a developmental disorder. It is not a mental illness. To make me have to clarify that does a disservice to both communities. I have a son with autism, and I would choose it over whatever is clouding this man’s mind.

Thank you. Unfortunately, I’ve had over 12 years of having to defend my amazing child to ignorant people. Lots of practice!

I’m sorry. I worked with 3-21 yr olds with autism in a classroom for 15 years. They were some of the smartest people I have ever met. Also some of my favorite people. I also had to defend them from ignorant people. It’s very frustrating. You’d think people would know better.

Both my daughters are on the spectrum, and while they face challenges (along with their awesomeness) it is far, far preferable to terminal assholism.

I really wish there was Evangelical Hell. So all these monsters would burn there for eternity.

There is. They just don't know it yet.

In that case - boy are they in for a surprise.

The Bible is pretty clear that people who go to hell will be surprised because they thought for sure they were God's people. Meanwhile some people seen as "bad" would get in. That used to confuse me but it makes so much sense now.

I'm an atheist but I'm relishing this little tidbit tonight.
