But I'll continue to vote confidence in him anyway.

Perfectly encapsulates this parliament. Moan and complain but refuse to use the tools the constitution gave them. This parliament and half the institutions in this country has failed. Like a banana republic.

Say remainers manage to do away with Brexit - what then? They think they can go back to normal? After three years of turmoil, division & then overturning democracy? This isn't just fighting for Brexit anymore, its the fight for a future where people are respected and matter.

What? Is this the most patronising tweet ever?

Only those who fear democracy would choose a court when they could have chosen the ballot box.

MPs cannot agree a Brexit plan between them. Yet they won't let us leave without a deal; they won't move a vote of no confidence; they won't agree to an election; and they support judges ruling on what are ultimately political decisions. Was a parliament ever so discredited?

The political importance of SC judgement is exactly this: it allows supporters of the delinquents in parliament to paint their opponents as criminals while they renege on their commitments to us. I am sorry to say we should expect a lot more of this from apologists like Jones.

All these Twitterati drooling over that brooch, we now have the symbol of the Remain elite. It's a gift to Leave propaganda. And you know what normal people do to spiders in the house, right?

Can somebody please clarify, is there any point in voting for anything ever again?

Never waste an opportunity to copy the US, huh? How about we don’t do any of those things and let the next parliament abolish it instead

It seems to me voting down the 'liberal establishment' in the forthcoming general election is now the only political cause left in Britain-as the elite huddle together in antidemocratic alliance of Gravy Train season ticket holders playing fast & loose with our hard won democracy

Will our gracious Lords, Baronesses and Masters now allow us to have a general election, or do they intend to sit in perpetuity?

No, we're just catching up with the US - years and years of key political decisions will now be made by our new unelected rulers. What a time to be alive.

It is the same unelected elite in a different form tightening their grip - and the harder they squeeze, the more likely things are to burst

Of course, there is a simple way of getting round all this. A general election. But remainers, who have the power to give us one, won’t. Because they fear the public disagree with them, and know that when it comes, it will undo all their work.
