    そういった「うまく言えないけど察しろよ」という世間の甘え（およびそのことからもたらされるネガティブな影響）に対して、学者は発言を文字通り読み解釈することで適正に対処しているに過ぎないと思います（私もそうです）。それを「茶化す」と受け取るのも甘えです …

    お心づかい、ありがとうこざいます。思わぬ方向に「大喜利」が展開されて驚きました。そして、猛烈にバズった後、すっと沈静しました。線香花火や何かの感染症のようでした。「頭がよい」とされる方々の振る舞い方を見ることもできて、よい機会だったと思います。

    「浅はかな採用担当者」の良いそうなこととして「イギリスのトイレの歴史」を出したという解釈は全く成り立ちません。

    じゃあどういう例示が適切であったかというと、〈いかにも浅はかな採用担当者が表面だけ見て斬って捨てそうなもの〉ということであれば「イギリスのトイレの歴史」がやっぱり絶妙に思えてくるし、そのニュアンスを正確に伝える140字以内のツイートは極めて困難だろうとも思いますね…。

    無名かどうかではなく、理解するセンスがいいかどうか、言語表現が的確かどうかは研究者なら問われます

    私は無名ながら一人の歴史研究者です。「イギリスのトイレの歴史」をきちんと探究した卒論はすばらしいと思いますし、それに意義があるであろうことを理解し耳を傾けてくれる企業の採用担当者がいらっしゃればどんなにいいだろうか、と思います。
