    I see much of the UK commentariat think apex courts can either resemble the modest, retiring old Law Lords or the hyper-politicised US Supreme Court, with nothing in between: Anglo-American parochialism at its finest. (Never mind European varieties: Canada, NZ etc also ignored.)
