Interesting read from @ArminRosen about Nir Rosen and his work as a fixer between various actors and the Assad regime in Syria. Part of that was reaching out to Nir Rosen and using him to push articles and narratives in media that supported the Assad regime or at least painted the regime as an inevitability. Part of that was also coopting other media figures like @RaniaKhalek to do this work.
Rania Khalek, who made the public switch from supporting the Syrian revolution to full-on campaigning for the Assad regime along with other figures @MaxBlumenthal and @BenjaminNorton at about the same time, was long suspected of ulterior motives for the change.

In the email, Samir Foz emails his brother Amar Foz asking him to raise the amount that Khaled al-Ahmad receives from "20 to 40", the amount that Nir Rosen @nirrosen receives from "10 to 20", and the amount that @RaniaKhalek receives from "5 to 10".

According to the original article on @tabletmag, also released work under a fake name for @WarOnTheRocks. The platform that Rania published her work, is the @GrayzoneProject, a website created by Rania's good friend @maxblumenthal.
So what can we do with this information? Well for one, we have some evidence of where the sudden interest in obscure government officials from Nir Rosen and his circle of friends came from and hopefully it will lead to more investigation into the financial ties of this group.
The latest trip by this group, covered here in an article by @im_PULSE, was to Damascus.
