After publishing the Minds Community Open Source Initiative First Anniversary blog article I noticed that whilst in dark mode, bold formatted characters are displayed using a black colour (#000000).
I have tested this issue using both Firefox (x86_64 v68.0.2) and Chromium (x86_64 v76.0.3809)
Add bold formatting to some blog content, publish and then view the blog whilst using the dark mode theme.
Suspect that the issue is related to Minds CSS (platform neutral).

It appears as though the colours have been set via the editor. Can you try to remove formatting to resolve?
added Priority::2 - Normal Product::Blogs Type::Bug (Triage) scoped labels
added T - Community label
@markeharding, I am going to keep the bold formatting, as I have used the same sort of styling rule for all of my previous articles (and it would be a real pain to edit all of them).
Hopefully a developer can modify the CSS so that the issue can be resolved.
If you have copied and pasted, it looks like it has taken the colours with it. Please try using the remove formatting tool and then making bold again. HTML colour attributes will always out trump local colour attributes.
removed milestone
@markeharding,
I have manually typed the text (and included the relevant URLs as linked / href references).
Whilst editing, I noticed a strange issue, as shown within the following screenshot, when I did try to copy / paste the content and tried manually typing, the last two lines were displayed with subscript formatting.
Anyway, I have now manually typed the text (and applied the bold formatting) and it seems to be okay (if you are interested, I originally used LibreOffice to prepare this and previous articles then copied the text content via the usual clipboard process).
Hopefully this can be resolved when the blog facility gets updated (re: epic#34)
Thanks for the suggestions.
Copying of colours is intended functionality and it for the end user to then decide how to format their blogs. Using the remove formatting tool should resolve this issue for you.
