To answer your above question, I haven't been out in the Sun much this summer, even though swimming is one of my favorite activities. So I don't currently have much in the way of a tan, although I can get very darkly tanned when out in the Sun enough.
You mention the autumn equinox in your audio. Here is what my ultra-high-tech computing machine states is the end of summer:

And yes, I am so very ready for Halloween! I was born ready for Halloween! Ten days in advance, to be specific, which allowed me just enough time to prepare for that splendid day in good ol' '77, the hight of the the Disco era. If I recall correctly, I dressed-up as a baby for my first Halloween. Perhaps not the most original outfit, but it seemed to suit me at the time.
I don't know what I'll be dressing-up as this Halloween. I think I'll go as an apocalyptic cyberpunk--a lady one, of course. That will be a great outfit for me because I won't have to do anything special to achieve that look, as that's just how I always look, through no effort of my own. God, or Fate--whichever one may prefer--gets the credit for that.
The previous Halloween my husband and I dressed as our usual selves, but we did a reverse Trick or Treat: we went around to our closest neighbors, who we know well, knocked on their doors and gave them candy! That means since we treated them, they couldn't trick us! Teehee!
