    It's tragic to think this but it seems to me that in our consumption-oriented society, the Syrian conflict cannot be packaged neatly enough for our whimsical and ad-chasing media. Our elected leaders lack the moral fibre to tackle the issue of there aren't any votes to be won. 💔

    I think she was actually standing a little further back, since I don't think she was on the roof of the building in the immediate foreground of the image. Angles remain essentially unchanged. I wonder if she knew what she was leaving out of the picture?
