My new work about the factions belonging to the National Army Were they formed before ES? Did they receive US support via MoM or Pentagon? Have they fought ISIS, Assad or YPG? Compose they of Arabs, Turkmens & Kurds? For high quality

It's not the YPG but another front group, alleged local military council of Rasulayn. The US patrols with local forces, not the YPG :)

I'm not an expert on this but this is a very strong argument! However, I think the experience of 18 years proved that there remains little except to make a deal with the Taliban. Without massive US support, the Afghani government can't stand against them.

So we have 4 theoretical possibilities: 1- Deal was signed by misleading Erdogan 2- Deal is vague and allows the US to interpret it 3- Erdogan ignores the deal and tries to get more of it then agreed 4- Erdogan wants to make sure the US implements the deal

I am curious what reasons are behind the significant increase of deleted tweets of CENTCOM- and YPG/SDF-related official accounts in regards to the safe-zone deal with Turkey?

Erdogan logically expressed criticism towards the safe-zone deal and its implementation. The US still priorities to protect the YPG, while Turkey wants to rip them off its border. A new round of bilateral escalation ahead of us.

The progress so far is similar to the Manbij roadmap but faster. The roadmap failed when it came to the removal of the YPG & the formation of new local administration. The labeling of security mechanism indicate that the safe zone deal might fail over the most important aspect.

Until now: - Joint Command Center established - Removal of defensive fortifications ongoing - Monitoring via air ongoing - Joint patrol started But none of them have a meaning until the control of the area changes. Currently YPG front groups are in charge.

Today, the first Turkish-American joint patrol in northeast Syria was conducted. The patrol was short and limited to the area of Hashisha ~10km east of Tal Abyad. Note the difference in wording: EUCOM: Security Mechanism Turkish Defense Ministry: Safe-Zone

Million dollar question Many Kurdish families had been staging sit-in protests outside the municipalities run by the "pro-Kurdish" HDP, whom they accuse of recruiting their sons for the PKK. Has this ever been covered by non-Turkish media?
