    Some more members of the vulture tour identified. They are Paul Larudee, Rick Sterling, and Judith Bello. Larudee had siphoned money to Dennis Kucinich in 2017 to attend a pro-Assad gathering in the UK. Rick Sterling is member of the shady "Syria Solidarity Movement".

    I remember an air force officer's indignation at my suggestion the jets parked over Tanf be dedicated to protect the vulnerable people at Rukban and environs. He wanted me to know his mission was to piss away resources ("balance Iran"/"political solution") not protect civilians.

    Not sure the Communists were anti-democratic post 1919; they certainly participated in elections. It's more they kinda resented being murdered by Weimar's Social Democrats and the very clearly anti-democratic militias they allied with - an 'authoritarian solution'.

    um, how about just offering clear definitions? I guess it's terrible to appropriate another language's words. That's why Arabic contains no non-Arabic words. Oh wait... No more childish orthodoxy exists than the conviction that fixing language will fix realities.

    sorry, but this view is nothing but the product of short attention spans. Assad's war isn't even over. Europe was still full of misery and destruction at least four years after WW2, & the destruction in Syria is comparable.

    The latest issue of maintains what has been saying for a while: Assad's victory in Syria's civil war is hollow, at best.
