It's interesting to think about the lives I could seriously screw up, or people I could seriously hurt with a few words.
This isn't some psycho post, I'm just finding some fascination in the fact that if I felt like it (I don't!) I could demolish some people with a few text messages.
It's something I think about from time to time, a reminder that my actions have consequences that don't just affect me.
It's just interesting. We each have power in the lives of others and usually vice versa.
@TranimeGirl Been reading Jordan Peterson? He makes the point that it is a good thing to have strength and power, and have the wisdom to not use them to hurt others.
He speaks of it in the context of young men, criticising those who would rather see them weak, with devastating effects of the psyche of boys being raised to be weak and shameful of the stereotype of the strong man, but I see it as generically applicable.
With great power comes great responsibility!
