I've avoided really sharing my personal feelings around everything because I didn't want to give InkedFur the satisfaction of knowing how much this has affected me. I've lost sleep over it, I've cried over it, I feel sick cause of it all. And I hate this situation.

All I wanted to do with that book was combine two things I love (shibari and male/masc characters), and encourage others to create content featuring it, and share that with people. I figured selling it as a book would be a good way to pay back artists for their time & skill.

I honestly struggle to want to ever run another book despite being told that I did a good job with the organisation and that I was clear and transparent. I feel like I fucked up. Yet a group of these wonderful people still want me involved in possible future books (not using IF)

I trusted the wrong person to help with the business side. I trusted them when they told me accusations against them were the result of 'entitled artists' not getting special treatment and kicking off about it.

I trusted the wrong person who did things to indebt me to them like helping pay the up-front cost for the project, and handle manufacturing and distribution when I said I would never be able to do the project without help.

We've been directly insulted, ignored, they attempted to pay us off with an arbitrary sum to shut us up, information has been withheld and repeatedly changed when actually given, and their attempt to push a 'solution' on us that no one agreed to.

They still have physical products with my art for sale on the site cause I couldn't afford to buy it off them and the creator agreement I signed said they can do this I get no royalties from these. Please think hard before buying my stuff from
