duythanhny Thanks for using CoffeeTime. ;) A you sure if 9100f is exactly B0? All photos i saw in net shows that 9100f has U0 revision. Anyway, you can recognize revision when cpu will be on hands using image of revisions comparison from CT. For 9100F-B0 (same as i3-8xxx/G5600) choose "5" in CT_0.83 main menu. For 9100F-U0 (same as i5-8xxx/G54xx) choose "4" in CT_0.83 main menu.
mgabee Please, open your output modbios in CoffeeTime again, but now in Advanced mode and update vbios to 1059 (only this one). All P0/R0 Coffee Lake CPUs (it's most of 9xxx) requires vbios 1059+ to work iGPU. But v0.83 update vbios to 1054 in automode. I'll fix it in next CT build. Using SPI programmer for flashing - best way to get success.
ja-ki I guess CT stops on microcodes adding because you used dump of bios. Just use factory bios image as source. NO_CAP fix - mod, that remove infinite .CAP request message on ASUS 100-series 2xxx bioses with changed ME. Some high-grade boards (like M8-series) didn't requre this fix.
Try this: - A bit modify original 3xxx bios with CT in Advanced mode: change ME to 11.7, unlock descriptor and restore capsule at finalizing - Flash it with USB Flashback (it may helps, because when ME will updates by internal utility, FD-region should will rewrited too) - Make dump with FPT and check access table in FD with UEFITool - if it will "yes" for write in all states, then begin to next step - Make modbios for Coffee with any automated tool, unlock descriptor, restore capsule and flash it with USB Flashback
Darkslayerbr MSI Z170A_Gaming_M3 will not work with U0/P0/R0 Coffee CPU (8600K = U0). It's better to choose board from other manufacturer.
ccassidy39 In most of cases 00 post = ME region not reflashed. M9E normally works with 9700K. - Update vbios to 1059 in Advanced mode of CoffeeTime by manual (required 1059+ vbios for iGPU in P0 Coffees) - M9E bios flashes normally with attached clip. Make sure that you found right chip on board and clip connected correctly - Use only v1.18 software for CH341A - Completely match for bios chip names not required - different chars at the end of ID isn't problem in most of cases - Clear CMOS by button after SPI flashing
PCGH_Torsten Unfortunately, M9E hasn't bro from Z370 lineup. I tried make ports from all other Z370 boards (A, C, H, F) with similar VRM and they all partially works, even can boot in OS and work under load... But PCIe, USB and SATA lines has completely different configuration, so system didn't work after restart.
@PCGH_Torsten Unfortunately, removing 12T_blocker doesn't unlock 16-threads support for ASUS. For now only 2xxx bioses for 100-series may provide that.
@chef1702 Sorry for this. Seems to used FDCpr tool can't handle with 2xxx bioses. Issue is already in queue to fixing. You can use attached FD44Editor tool for transfer personal data at manual.
@chef1702 On 2xxx bioses with changed ME you can get issue with .CAP requiring, described by @PCGH_Torsten a bit earlier here (and his solution by using Flashback). Seems to I found how to fix it by one more mod. So if you will get this problem just pm me.
@ebe0025 Nope, I didn't use any of F cpus yet. According available info 9400F has U0 rev., so you need mod same as for 8400. You need clarify revision by visual comparing. If it P0 - will need "9600 mod" (same as 8400 but with 906EC microcode).
@chef1702 I answered about SKU-hack at linked thread. What exactly board you want adaptate for 9900K?
SKU-hack is maximum simplified analogue of SKU changing mod. Instead of many changes in FD and ME regions, the SKU-hack fixes 1 byte in the FD (307h offset), which still allows to run Coffee CPU. SKU will kept as default and ME at their factory state. So with SKU-hack, if your board already has compatible ME you can flash only FD and BIOS regions - mod will works. Less changes - more stable. ;) This optimization is not absolutly necessary, that's why I'm no hurry to release version of CT implemented this.
You right about regions unlocks - it checks all regions, include EC and PDR.
There are a lot of mods for testing and test results for systemizing at the moment. I hope new build will be released soon.
@chef1702 Don't worry, 0.7p version is pretty same as 0.7hf, but with some cutted functional for safe publishing by legal responsible persons. No any really important changes inside. I'll a bit change and clean version branches structure after releasing next build.
@HOPSI You just didn't modify ACPI tables for 8+ cores. Do it with CoffeeTime (even if not patched all) or Revlaay's AIO tool and issues should gone. To correct CPU voltage in auto try to adjust AC/DC Loadline params.
