He makes a compelling case, clearly, but recall that he was also supporting rebels and jihadists in destabilising Syria and adding to the refugee problem. He doesn't get to this easily wash his hands of the situation he had a hand in creating.

He was very patient . I admire that. Good . Finally he says out loud what we all know is gonna happen if EU don’t take its responsabilities.
This is the very clear reality that Erdogan has articulated one more time. EU has remained silent and indifferent as Turkey has by far done its best by taking huge amounts of immigrants who had to flee Syria.Turkey's patience and sources are not limitless. Now, It is up to them!
He is not threaten anybody. This burden is getting heavier for Turkey, if we don't get the help they promised before, there is nothing more to do but open our gates.
