I was just waiting for FA to get back up so I could retrieve some scans of art that I had already sent in the mail. They really are not worth the time as a host, but since there are still people who will submit wtf worthy things, it still has the potential as comic relief.

I don't get all emotional over a website being down for a while.

You know, I honestly frown upon people complaining about website code of all things, but the chance to take a shot at Dave Hyena seems worth a bit a of redemption.

I just wish the choice of administration on FA would be handled a bit better then who's who, as that seems to have really fucked things up for everyone more times not. I may be friends with 'neer but I can't ignore a painfully obvious part of the sight like that.

The code, though, is somewhat negligible. As far as I know, not being interweb-code savvy to begin with, FA's got it's downsides butt akes leaps and bounds over other websites that came before. If a website is missing something that could be useful, however, most people don't rely on the owners to do anything and improvise themselves.

I cannot stand Dave Hyena, out of all the Furaffinity staff, I cannot handle his arbitrary and sometimes harrasment like administration. His policies and decision skillz occasionally go against other admins, which is why I almost always bring up the issue with someone OTHER then DH.

I do like FA, code or not, generally, it does what it's supposed to, and makes me money. Aside from that I don't really care. There was a time when FA went down for 6 whole months and came back WITHOUT it's database and everyone had to start over. Honestly, this time we didn't have it so bad. I have NO idea what everyone's complaining about.

If you're going to abandon FA just go. If people want to find you, they will. Great thing about the rest of the internet, it has a friggin search engine.
