Rosenstein sits right there and tells Gaetz "I'm not the affiant" and it goes right over Gaetz's head. I explained this about 25 times in my Twitter feed in the last year and then I gave up. It doesn't matter. It'll all come out anyway.

So I get people still tweeting at me every day who think they know how this went down "Nah bro, Rosenstein is a dirty snake - he signed off on that last FISA warrant!" I literally gave up trying to explain it. It's a narrative that will never die.

People on both sides viciously oppose Rosenstein to this day. Just look at the comments under his tweets. You know what that tells me? He did his job correctly and apolitically. From his tenure as an attorney all the way up to his tenture as DAG.

I like your take Brian, it's my favorite of all scenarios, but up until now none of us have EVER won these battles against our hostile and corrupt government, so most people are very skeptical that they ever will win. We are a product of our experiences, and it ain't been good..
