The Legendary Godzilla's Body Design Has Been Leaked!

Well, it was a smart move on Warner Bros part to release it instead of making us skeptical. I still find the head to look goofy. Yeah, I don't really like the design too much. Of course, still satisfying.

I love the design. It's awesome.

He kind've looks like he changed from a crocodile. It can tell he's real because he looks like the one from the leaked trailer.

I kind of prefer the "crocodile" look. A hunched Godzilla can look pretty nasty.

I am so glad that Legendary Pictures is sticking with the Japanese Godzilla design, and I really like the design. The one from 1998 looked super horrible.

Yeah, it was a horrible Godzilla design, but it was pretty good on its own as Zilla.

If it's anymore complaints I have with the design (aside from the fact that his eyes are too small and the atrocious teeth), it's the spines on his back, they only look like Godzilla spines a little bit, they primarily look like Zilla's backwards-shark-dorsal fin-like spines to me.

I would say something about the arms, but the Godzilla 2014 logo and the red and white flashes are in the way, so I can't say anything until I see another picture without the logo and the flashes.

I'd have to disagree with you on that, it looks nothing like it at all.

I don't mean to be in fact, but it's just my opinion. Out of all the designs for this one, honestly.... some of them look very similar to Zilla. And halfy this one as well.

I just cross-matched the new Godzilla spines in the leaked trailer to the new picture. They match. It looks real to me.

This one looks better than the old costumes, at least. However, I prefer the Godzilla 2000 and Godzilla: 2004 look.

Godzilla has always had a short snout.

It's head looks like a Ninja Turtle's, but that's what the official monster is supposed to look like according to the sculpts, and drawings. Their insperation was the the Goji costume from Gojira, like say the monster was real, and the head of Toho Co. realy did see Goji, and was trying to hurry home and draw what he saw, but couldn't quite remember what the beast looked like. Personally I liked the 1998 Zilla movie, but Legendary Pictures is alot better at making movies so the new Goji movie will be alot better than Zilla's movie.

"It's" means "it is" or "it has". For "Its head" (or anything else used when you're referring to something that belongs to someone), you use its, not it's. :D

I'm very aware already Titanollante that Zilla isn't Godzilla, the only reason why I refer to him "American Goji," and all Japanese Godzilla incarnations(the suites, with Goji in their names) simply as "Goji" is the fact that I don't find it quit as exhausting to say even though "American Goji" is a lot more to say, aswell I'd like to note, kudos, it's not every day someone teaches me that "it's" doesn't apply to the possessive, I've always assumed that "it's" was a contraction or a possessive form, due to the rule, "If it doesn't end in "S" add apostrophe "s", but if it ends in "s" just add an apostrophe to the end." EX. "Godzilla's", not "Godzillas", or "Zilla's son," not "Zillas sons." Well played, Grammar Nazi schooled by a Grammar Nazi.

P.S. I know "It's" is a contraction, and I'm still very aware his name is Zilla, I'm not an idiot.

Hmm... That face just doesn't look "Godzilla" -ish to me. Kinda reminds me of Goomba from the bad Super Mario Bros Movie. I don't see what was wrong with the millenium Godzilla's design though. I always believed in my opinion that he looked quite spectacular.

If they had shaped the snout a bit differently and given the beast more unevenly shaped spikes then it would have been a decent design.

As it says on the Godzilla (2014) page, this is a scene from the trailer premeiring tomorrow 10am Pacific time/ 1pm Earstern time. It was found on USA Today along with the other pictures showing Bryan Cranston and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. There is also one that shows a closer the head. I thought I should post it here to show you.

It's not nearly being as small as the Showa Godzilla, though. Also, only the MireGoji and the KiryuGoji had truly "long" snouts, and to be fair, the upper jaw looks small because Godzilla is squinting with his nose raised.

I uploaded the roar of G14 to Wikizilla as a .ogg file before that video was even uploaded. It's very obviously placed in the infobox on the Godzilla article, I really thought it would have been easy to notice and find. I guess it isn't... everyone should look at articles more.

That chart is wrong. Very wrong. Godzilla in 2014 is going to be exactly 106.68 meters. BARELY bigger than the tallest film Godzillas, and not surpassing the Marvel Godzilla at all.

I've been noticing that people selling the 2014 toys are still using the design uploaded by the brazilian fan. Why are they using that design if we know legendary switched it to the design in the comment above me.
