    I work in enviro dept of local council & am outside every day in nature. I try to tweet something each day from our beautiful bush reserves.

    When I saw zebra finches in bright sunshine, I didn't have my camera. This fella was in deep shade but so close I still got a decent pic.

    Some of the birds I saw in Central Australia were the same as east coast birds and others were new. I think I got most of the IDs right, could definitely use help on a couple. Pied butcherbird.
