Do you think it's beautiful that these men have to protect these women from being sexually harassed during Hajj, of all places and moments? I think it's horrible that women can't even perform their religious pilgrimage without fear of getting raped and assaulted.

Do you think it is wrong to advice people to protect their women from such shameless men?

It's Hajj. It's a sad reflection on the state of men that they need to be reminded at all.

Honestly though, when will men do better? Its HAJJ. Imagine doing Hajj, constantly vigilant of harassment. This "circle of protection" isnt enough. Men need to go back home and teach other men around them NOT to harass women so this protection isn't even needed in the first place

My friend's sister was inappropriately touched when she was on Umrah (doing the Tawaf). I've heard many similar incidents, some even worse.

What if we lived in a world where disgusting men didn't grope women during HAJJ. Don't frame these atrocities as beautiful. Women shouldn't need protection

Women shouldn't need protection. People shouldn't need protection. Nobody should need protection from anyone If the world was what it's supposed to be.

Thats cool and all but I just cant get past the disturbing fact that women, even at a holy event such as Hajj are not free from the perverts around them who are supposedly on their pure, pious journey of a lifetime. Unbelievable.

These brothers are protecting the sisters from those brothers. May God help those brothers to protect their sisters from these brothers.

waLLAHi. You wont know the beauty of performing hajj with your spouse until you see the way these Indonesians and other countries behave with their spouses especially during tawaf. It's so beautiful waLLAH.

I do not think that is right. While performing either hajj or Umrah, one is expected to be gentle and conduct oneself in an orderly manner. That is impossible when protecting one's spouse.

As a someone Alxamdulillah who twice performed Hajj with mom, once with sister & several Umrah solo Let me tell u, 100 ppl creating human chain is hazard &forbidding because of the safety 4everyone When making tawaf, even 2ppl holding hands SideBySide is causing other’s to fall

When making Hajj or Umrah, u don’t want collecting sin instead of ajar. When u bother other Hajjaj or Umrah goers by creating human chain & making their experience unpleasant or even worst because of your action they fall & get hurt. You are in a big trouble & committing sin

If u are with your mom, wife, sister or other ladies who u are their marham. This’s how to protect All u need is walk behind them if they are weak in order to prevent crowd pushing them forward Or u lead them by them hold on your shoulder creating single line not side by side

That is exactly what I do with my mum each time we are performing tawaf. As I move she follows. I avoid any crowded area and give way to anyone who is going on a faster pace than us, not to hold them down.

Exactly, that is how I do & everyone should do Those crowded of hundreds of them making human chain, they are making uncomfortable for everyone else. Might Allah forgive them I always, give right of way those rushing or the once exiting from Kaaba. Tawaf needs a lot of patience
