    The comments to this tweet stating that Queen Elizabeth is a descendant of Prophet Muhammad are truly baffling. People just share their raw thoughts (and it’s not pretty). Racism, ignorance, prejudice, you name it. Baffling.

    What kind of news outlet is Al Bawaba? The article mentions Prince Ahmed and goes on calling him Abdulaziz as if Abdulaziz was his family name. I mean... 😳🤷🏻‍♀️🤣

    « Attaching ourselves to MBS on Iran »?! I think that MBS has rather been attaching himself to a certain US view on Iran. And backtracking is certainly not the easiest thing. But bashing MBS continuously must be quite satisfying, right? Pfff...

    When it comes to Yemen and so many other ME challenges, the US is like some modern day Gulliver tied up by its own illusions and exploited by small powers who don’t share our interests. And greatest illusion of all other than ultimate deal is attaching ourselves to MBS on Iran.

    I am surprised, to tell you the truth, that those arguments are not used by feminists way more often. To me, Prophet Muhammad started a feminist revolution and today, the Muslim world would certainly be in a position to complete it because it’s fair to do so.

    We are not candies or chocolate or diamonds. It is the decision of Muslim women to wear or not to wear a hijab and abaya. A Muslim is someone who believes La Illah il Allah Muhammad Rasul Allah, THATS IT!

    Re-reading your tweet. Having a hard time turning things into actionable policies? Come on, it’s not rocket science. Main thing to do is to send the message out there to retailers, property managers, etc. that the party is over and that they are expected to deliver now.

    Sur ces histoires de burkini, la question qui me semble toujours intéressante c’est, porte-t-elle le burkini par conviction religieuse ou pour faire chier le système de l’ancienne puissance coloniale ? Là c’est assez clair. Être en paix avec soi-même.

    Ce qui devait arriver arriva. J’allais certainement pas passer un été tranquille en tant que femme qui porte le voile. Je viens de me faire jeter du parc Aqualand de St Cyprien parce que je porte un Burkini, autrement dit: un maillot de bain couvrant jambes et bras.

    This is interesting. The truth is, American culture values this kind of smartass behavior “I am testing my right to...” but they are now confronted to the limits of such behavior. It will be interesting to see what eventually will come out of this.
