goose - a water foul that migrates
In the 2010s in Denver, Colorado the government of Denver hired hunters to use silencers to kill geese after midnight, for there was/is too many geese in Denver according to the government of Denver. After killing the geese with silenced guns (so as not to disturb Denver citizens with the sound of gunshots), the geese were given to the homeless population for them to eat. People in Denver and maybe elsewhere protested this culling of geese.
Uncle Horis(?) is the name of the goose in the movie Balto; the polar bears in the movie shout out his name.
