You are grossly mis-characterizing several of the tweets there (including just replies to exclude context), but re: the safe zone tweet, I do need to clarify. My response was based on info, at the time publicly unavailable, about the US position in the talks.

Since then, part of the information has become available & can be read in ch 2 of this report https://www.crisisgroup.org/middle-east-north-africa/eastern-mediterranean/syria/204-squaring-circles-syrias-north-east … Such a safe zone would prevent a Turkish incursion while not allowing any Turkish presence in Rojava.
