    Sound strategy = alignment of objectives + resources. Trump increased U.S. objectives in Syria (to now include somehow ejecting Iran) while decreasing resources. That's a recipe for failure and increases risk for our people on the ground.

    There is always a lot of talk about Idlib, but any Turkish attack will also displace thousands of civilians. Especially in border & local authorities are already taking care of thousands of IDPs & ISIS prisoners. There are more people living in northeast Syria than Idlib.

    Also Kobani that resisted ISIS would be under direct threat & it's people most likely displaced again. The local Kobani administration with a lack of resources has managed to bring some normality to the city. But this could be lost if Turkey attacks, incl their sacrifices.
