A surfboard is a watercraft.[1] A kayak, which typically has a maximum capacity of one person, is a watercraft. A canoe, which typically has a maximum capacity of multiple people, is a watercraft. A submarine is a watercraft. Water skis (minus the boat and rope to pull the person on the them) could be consider a watercraft.
Both kayak and canoe are boats, and the parts of a boat are named as follows, right side: starboard; left side: port; front: bow; rear: stern.
