Considering the issues between Gab.ai and Stripe back in October, as well as Stripe's current Code of Conduct statement (which was updated just over a month ago -- see URL below), I am wondering if it is a wise idea for Minds Inc. to reintroduce Stripe services to the Minds platform within the near future.Reference:

Please also note the list of restricted businesses and especially the "social media activity" segment within the following page (which was updated in March).

That refers to fraudulent social media activity it seems. Gumroad uses stripe and PayPal and they do a pretty good job with monetizing as much content as possible. Again, we are bringing in btc and eth to help all users

@markeharding, @jotto141 & @ottman,
Could one of you please confirm that Stripe is still intended to be used within the upcoming multi-currency provision?Edited by Mark Edworthy- Owner
Just until something else competitive which supports usd marketplace functionality and subscriptions presents itself. Open to suggestions. We already had most of the code from before and will be rolling it out with eth and btc as a censorship resistant options. This is not a black and white issue so hopefully you appreciate the effort.
@ottman,
Thank you for the information and I do appreciate the complexities of this issue but am have been wondering about the "Minds boycotts Google, Facebook, Patreon" official Minds blog article.Considering the recent public relation issues that Minds has encountered (in relation to the Google Play store issue) and also considering that the above article contains the statement: "Centralized payment platforms like Stripe (which powers Patreon) and PayPal have also been removed from our monetization systems and we are working tirelessly to evolve the Minds token into a true solution for creators.", I recommend that the staff considers producing a new article which provides an explanation about the current situation, as well as adding an amendment within the "Minds boycotts Google..." article.
I consider that the above action would be a very sensible manoeuvrer on the part of the senior staff (arguably, you could consider this idea as a form of "damage control").
