If anything it is Turkey's fault. The US was begging Turkey to do something about ISIS. But especially considering what a success SDF has been, it is simply deplorable to support Turkey's ethnic cleansing now.

Hear me out,Obama failure in overthrowing Assad led to the current situation and plus making a very quick ill-advised choice on the counter-terrorism strategy against ISIS was a very big mistake, leading to the current situation

ISIS' genocide would be continuing today if not for the amazing success of SDF. The US had no good options in Syria. The real mistake was to turn nonviolent protests into a failed civil war. And Assad deserves the majority of blame for that. He should not have cracked down he

he should have stepped down. But it was Qatar and Turkey Andd KSA who funded and supported the war and decided to steal their funding and support to extremists and jihadists and that left the US with no good options.

You are making a perfect case why we should get the hell out of there. We have no horse in that fight. Let Iran, Russia & Assad shoulder responsibility 4continuing fight against ISIS. No need for US to help lighten their load in Syria.

ISIS doesn't just threaten Syria. It threatens the whole world. Allowing it to revive itself is dangerous to the US. Also it is morally reprehensible to allow Turkey to ethnically cleanse Kurds out of northern Syria as it has done to 2/3 of Kurds in Efrin.

Furthermore, our position in Syria strengthens our very weak position in Iraq. And if we get pushed out of Iraq, other interests become threatened. It is interesting that you both blame Obama for Syria and use some of Obama's bad arguments for leaving Syria.
