hey dumb fuck, maybe you if you don't want phone calls when shit happens with 8chan, don't advertise you're the founder of 8chan in your twitter bio?

Also, you're delusional if you think 8chan is going away. Even
@Cloudflare admits in their blog that they will likely just move to a competitor. You'll still be getting those phone calls, my guy -
CloudFlare's competitors are expensive & most of them won't allow 8chan. In the event they find one they can afford and which will allow them, the company will probably fold from the same pressure just exerted on CF. This is big news, learn the realpolitik of hosting imageboards

While it's a relief for you, I'm really concerned every time Cloudflare makes a decision like this. Slippery slope is the rule of Internet services.
-
Cloud fare said exactly the same thing and they don’t like doing this. It’s not their job but JFC when a 4 month old is gunned down isn’t that enough? Let alone how many others?
-
Blaming an internet message board for a psycho killing people has got to be the dumbest thing I heard since blaming guns for a psycho killing people.
-
I think the bigger nausea there is the people on 8chan cheering the mass shootings on. That is blamable on the message board. The fear is that a community that openly cheers a mass shooting on may breed more mass shootings.
-
Comedians on Netflix and Amazon make similar jokes about many different kinds of victims. Better shut them down too by this insane logic
-
Yes because these two things are mutually exclusive. Nope. Not even close.
-
Some people are too hard headed to reach like
@RebelYellerUSA which is exactly why 8chan needs to go away they’re to dumb to understand they’re wrong so it’s pointless -
Lol i went to 8chan once in like 2010
You crack pots are hilarious. "Ban webpages I don't like to stop mass shootings REEEE!" No wonder you losers accomplish nothing

Why didn’t he shut down his own site? I truly don’t understand
-
Because he hasn't been involved with it since April 2016:pic.twitter.com/Y7YPQidq3W
-
Thank you. I’m just a bit baffled as to why he didn’t shut it down before that, knowing how problematic it was.
-
He was a diff person then I think. It wasn't till after that he realised how much his brand of free speech absolutism wasn't good. He has an NYT article out rn.
-
Btw im not saying that he's totally absolved of it. What he did then was SHIT
-
I understand. I appreciate your clarification.

CNN and the NYT could have prevented this? Seriously? How so?
-
No they couldn't have. I know some Qboomers are spreading a conspiracy theory that I meant that but it's not true. Jim and Ron could have prevented being deplatformed from CloudFlare but chose not to do so, multiple times, in multiple situations.
-
Ah. Ok. I thought that was directed at CNN and the NYT. My bad. It's actually a sad state of affairs that free speech in internet forums, in some instances, has degraded into hate speech not different from how ISIS recruited their fighters.
