Pros: Really nice host (very kind & helpful). Great location, everything nearby. Easy to navigate to everything on Subway once you get a feel for it. Provided breakfast (toast, boiled eggs, & yogurt) which was really nice & yummy).
Cons if we had to list cons: Beds are traditional Japanese rolled mattresses (very thin) so for American standards might feel a bit “firm” on the raised platform but we slept great all 3 nights. Luckily weather wasn’t super hot or we might have been warm (although I did notice a portable A/C unit in living room).Host reply

Jaco and Tony are a wonderful couple and we greatly enjoyed getting to know them and their daily lives in Tokyo. They were always available if we had any questions and kindly provided suggestions and directions when we needed them. Their home was comfortable and is in a location that was great for getting around the city. We had a great time in Tokyo and are so thankful Jaco and Tony opened up their home to us - we can't wait to visit again :)

Hi! We had enjoyable days during our stay in Tokyo! The host were at home to welcome us and gave us a tour around the house! They are super friendly and easy to talk to! We wish we had more time to actually talk to them. They provided all toiletries that we felt like we were at the hotel. It was very clean and tidy too! The house is walking distance to the train station which is convenient as there are many food shops and marts along the way. Hope to come back and recommend this to my friends!

They were very friendly and went out of their way to help me when I had some trouble with my bike. They gave me tips on where I could go in the neighbourhood for food and such. Would stay there again!

Clean and spacious tatami room with on level 2 next to the staircase and near 2 x train stations, airport express bus terminals, eateries. local shopping Malls and 24-7 market.

Jaco and Tony’s home is more beautiful in person. It is very new and very clean. Jaco is a very sweet person and you can ask her any thing under the sun. Tony is very good with directions especially if you wanted to ask him for directions to go places. We stayed 10 nights with them, we meet other guests as well from other countries and it was fun. I was not an avid fan with Japan’s skin care products but Jaco’s influence made me want to try them. Their house is situation very near convenient stores and supermarkets. To name a few are Y’s Mart just right across, our favorite Sunny Mall which offers 50% @ 8:00pm for all their Bentos. Aeon Mall and Don Quijote. The train station is about 7mins. walk, we liked passing the back alley going to the station because we can pass by some restos, ramen shops and the Can Do (100 yen shop). Outside their home is a beautiful Sakura tree. It was in full bloom when we came, we arrived spring time. Big thank you to Tony and Jaco for making our Tokyo trip a memorable one and them being a part of it. We hope to see again and stay in your lovely home in the future. ARIGATO

Very hospitable, welcoming, helpful and kind hosts. They just didn't treated us only as guests , but they treated us like their own friends. Next time we come back to Tokyo, surely we will stay with them again. Tony and Jaco made our holiday in Japan extra special. ♥️♥️♥️

Despite going around in circles finding the place due to the wrong google map direction that was sent to us, this place is worth it. Modern and very accessible to shops and train station. A light breakfast was provided but we weren't able to enjoy it because we have to leave very early. The lovely couple was easy to talk with, wish we could have met the wife too. Thank you for opening your home to us. Definitely will spread the word to our friends who will visit too soon and yes, we will come back again, for sure. :) :) :)

Your aunt is also very nice and humor, I did enjoy chatting with you two in the very late evening. I also hope you didn't miss the splendid cherry blossom just outside our windows, but anyway, maybe you have already get very much cherry blossom view enough. How do I book?
Contact the host to check their availability and ask them any questions you have about staying with them. Once the host confirms they’re available for your dates, you can complete your booking.
When do I pay?
Once a host confirms they're available, you can go ahead and pay the 15% booking fee (maximum of 199 $£€ for longer term bookings) using a choice of payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Laser, JCB & PayPal (not available in certain countries). You then pay your host on arrival or as stated by your host on their profile and agreed by you on booking. Please be cautious if a host requests advance payment if its not included on their profile. Our hosts have been advised that if they wish to request advance payment they must make this explicit in their profile. We do not recommend the use of Money gram or Western Union.
When can I share my contact details?
Host and Guest email address, phone number and home address will be exchanged in a confirmation email sent to both immediately after a booking is completed. It's against our policy for Guests and Hosts to exchange direct contact details via our messaging system.
