    The US is in complete control of the situation & could feed all these people at no appreciable cost of any sort. Any distraction from this reality is a real disservice to the Syrians at Rukban.

    The Syrian government is starving 11,000 people who have fled Assad’s repression to Rukban camp on the Jordanian border, hoping they will return to government control without any guarantee of safety from security-force arrests, torture and executions.
