    Big thanks for figuring out the 122nd Artillery regiment belongs to the 10th Division’s & the 3rd Division’s artillery regiment is the 14th (the 155th is an affiliated missile brigade). This is the kind of collaboration I was hoping for in publishing the report!

    This is a small data set & we can't know who is actually ex-rebel, but it indicates the importance of these communities that have reconciled since 2013. I'm doing the same analysis on 480 Damascene martyrs b/w 7/2017 & 6/2018 & will write about that when done. END

    And here's the breakdown of where in these men come from. It should be no surprise that the region is heavily represented, as these men have been relied on for years. Should note that "South Damascus" includes everything from Babila to Sa'sa'.

    Here's the confirmed units some of the men fought in along w/ how many Damascene men from that unit died since May 6, split between men frm ex-rebel towns & men frm consistently loyalist towns. The men come frm the while men frm south

    THREAD| Went through the July 14 list of 90 killed govt men from province. 1 repeat name, 5 names could not be verified & 2 men died in April. But 82 of the men were posted by loyalist community pages b/w May 6 & Jul 14, bringing the total of Damascus-born deaths to 97

    The two men reported killed in so far belonged to the 225th Battalion 121st Brigade of the & to the 358th Special Tasks Battalion of the 105th Brigade (deployed in East Ghouta since at least 2014)
