Some days ago, a young SDF guard at al-Hawl camp was stabbed by ISIS supporters in the camp, the second stabbing attack in the last month. The guard was one of the kindest guys around, German women there told me. After the attack, the camp admin closed the annex areas.pic.twitter.com/VhPE2jf9yj

Note there are several annex areas with former ISIS members. The majority of those who were in Baghuz till the final days are in one area, among them are several ISIS supporters. In another annex area are many Hazimis, who left ISIS earlier and are somewhat more radical Jihadis.

Zij volgen hun roeping, niets verkeerds mee. Deze verheerlijkte handelingen gaan zij in Nederland voortzetten. tot genoegen van de groeiend deel van de bevolking. Anders zouden zij niet worden toegelaten.

Zij doen zoals zij zijn opgevoed. Geweld wordt door ISIS verheerlijkt. Deze herinneringen zijn bepalend voor hun houding. Het risico is bekend. Als zij hun acties in Nederland voortzetten kunnen wij het hun niet kwalijk nemen, het is onrechtvaardig hun hierover te veroordelen.

Met niet homogeen bedoel ik dat er in die groep spijtoptanten en voluit gedrevenen zitten. De meeste kinderen zijn zo jong dat ze de waarden overnemen van de groep waar ze op dat moment in verblijven. Natuurlijk kun je mensen verantwoordelijk houden voor gedrag.

Als kinderen ouder zijn dan 10 jaar zijn de beelden vastgelegd in hun geheugen. Bovendien blijven de moeders ongeacht wat zij beweren aanhangers van ISIS. De pleegouder zijn moslims en zelfs als zij niet sympathiseren met ISIS hebben zij er als geloofsgenoten begrip voor.

Er zijn even zovele argumenten deze kinderen hierheen te laten komen en ze daar te laten. De toenemende Islamisering zal waarschijnlijk een positief effect hebben. De gewelddaden van ISIS overigens zijn reacties op ongewenste westerse bemoeizucht en als zodanig begrijpelijk.
