Largely agree, but passive tense is endemic to formal Turkish writing and, I suspect, considered "good writing." (though I agree it most often it serves no good purpose). It also isn't new. Passive constructions very common in 19th Century writing too.

I know it isn’t limited to journalism, but when it comes to reporting, passive tense is like a linguistic mandate against answering the who, what, when, why and hows that are should be news writing 101 in any language.

If someone shoots another, journalist should write "a man got shot, there is one suspect". Who knows agressor is the one who killed that man? Journalists should use passive tense untill trial says the final result.

The lady in the “5 adimda dogru universite” seems like the lady in the red dress in the second photo. So, does he have a history with this lady (photo1 first, photo2 second; chronologically)? Or he left his beloved for this lady (photo2 first, photo1 second; chronologically)?

Sports pages are worse they literally quote people saying things that they definitely never ever said or make them sound like a personal chat between two people and the true journalist is standing next to them
-
I mean correct, but Turkish media outlets aren't worse than their Western counterparts in that sense. You're half gooner, surely you know the likes of the Sun?
